Privacy officer

Companies in some states are already obliged under certain conditions to appoint a privacy officer. Even for companies where this obligation does not apply, the services of a privacy officer are recommended for protection from liability risks and damage to corporate image, to conduct business in compliance with the law and to reinforce customer confidence.

This is where naiin can step in as an independent and external privacy officer at the request of member companies. naiin is able to provide help and advice and establish effective data protection in close agreement with all companies who work with, through and on the Internet. As a privacy officer, naiin is also a central point of contact for questions, complaints and comments from customers of naiin member companies.

Member companies appointing naiin as their privacy officer — irrespective of the country where the company is based — benefit from proven know-how and comprehensive expertise in the field of privacy and data protection.

Member companies are not under any obligation to use naiin as a privacy officer. Member companies who already have their own privacy officers can of course also use this service and appoint naiin as an additional external and independent privacy officer.
