Youth Protection Officer
Companies in some states are already legally obliged under specific conditions to appoint a youth protection officer. Even for companies in states where this is not the case, or for companies that do not fall under this legal obligation, using the services of a youth protection officer makes sense.
This is particularly the case for providers of Internet, telecommunications or mobile phone services used by children and teenagers. A youth protection officer should also be on hand for providers of freely downloadable services and offers with contents that are not suitable for children and teenagers or for certain age groups.
Member companies of naiin therefore have the opportunity of appointing naiin as their youth protection officer. naiin not only ensures that any existing legal obligations concerning youth protection are complied with, but also provides member companies with advice on how to further strengthen youth protection. In particular, naiin conducts regular checks on the services and offers of its clients to determine whether they are unsuitable for certain age groups or whether existing youth protection measures are effective.
naiin is also available as a central point of contact for youth protection matters to users of the services and offers provided by member companies. Users can send their questions, complaints and comments about youth protection to naiin for quick and competent handling. Complaints will be investigated and rectified.
