Arthur Wetzel studied business administration. His career began in the field of advertising in the Rhine region. In the early 90s, he was an IT product manager for the Düsseldorf Metro Group. He then became head of marketing at ESCOM AG, later obtaining a position as marketing department head for the news television channel n-tv. In 1999, Arthur Wetzel assumed the position as the COO Sales & Marketing for STRATO AG. As managing director of VeriSign in German he was responsible for all activities of the leading provider of Internet security solutions in the region and throughout Europe.

Damian Schmidt is the Chief Executive Officer for STRATO AG. Schmidt graduated in Communications Research, Marketing and Art Education and started his career as the marketing manager for TelePassport AG. From 2000 to 2005, Schmidt built up and led the marketing and customer support division at freenet.de AG. Prior his move to STRATO he was responsible for freenet's access business (DSL and Internet-by-Call).

Marcus Ross is the founder of Yields, Sales & Services. Prior to this, Ross was the managing director of the German VeriSign office, one of the leading companies worldwide offering Internet infrastructure and security solutions. He was responsible for building up the initial generic European presence of VeriSign and for all of the company's operative business in Germany. From 1999 to 2002, the business graduate was the board spokesperson for STRATO Medien AG. In a phase marked by enormous growth, he built the necessary infrastructure in the areas of marketing, legal affairs, and finance which allowed STRATO to enjoy sustained solid and healthy growth. Marcus Ross is also an IT security consultant for naiin.
